A continuous improvement process guarantees sustainable success

To sustainably anchor an optimized CREM structure in the company, the implementation of a continuous improvement process is crucial. Hence CREM staff, selected users and service providers are permanently trained as well as motivated in an institutionalized way to continuously improve the business processes supporting key corporate objectives. Thus continuous improvements replace radical changes.

Internal and external key performance indicators provide additional input for a continuous adaptation of existing structures. The internationally accepted ITOCC standard (International Total Occupancy Cost Code) for example, provides internal and external benchmarks to evaluate the status quo of a company’s real estate costs. Based on this, potentials for increased space and cost efficiency can be derived.

A logical and modular structured tree of performance indicators forms the basis for both, the internal performance measurement as well as external benchmarking.
